The Part Nobody Talks About

95% of who you are
is running beneath the surface.

Your conscious mind — the part that reads, plans, decides, and talks to a therapist — is about 5% of your total mind. The other 95% is your subconscious, and that's where everything actually lives: how you feel about yourself, what you believe you deserve, what feels safe, what you think love looks like.

The subconscious absorbs everything from the moment you're born. It watches how the people around you react, and learns what keeps you safe, what leads to rejection, what draws love, what causes pain. From all of it, it builds patterns, rules, and beliefs — installed so early and so quietly that by the time you're an adult, you don't even know they're there.

You just know that something keeps happening. The same dynamic in every relationship. The ceiling you hit each time you try to move forward. The exhaustion that lingers even when things are going well. That isn't a character flaw. It's a pattern running from somewhere underneath, somewhere talking hasn't reached.

How beliefs form
Early, and without your permission

Most core beliefs form in childhood — not from trauma necessarily, but from repeated experience. A child who was praised only for achievement learns "I am only lovable when I perform." They don't decide this. It just becomes the operating system.

How they show up
As patterns you can't think your way out of

Showing up fully feels dangerous, so you hold back. Asking for help feels weak, so you don't. Resting feels like laziness, so you push. These aren't choices — they're beliefs running on autopilot, shaping everything.

Why talking helps but has limits
Awareness lives in the conscious mind

Understanding where a pattern comes from is valuable. But understanding is a conscious mind activity. The pattern itself lives in the subconscious — and that's a different address. You have to go there directly.

An Honest Comparison

This isn't instead of therapy.
It's what happens after the ceiling.

Therapy is valuable. It gives you awareness, language, and context. It helps you understand where things come from and how they affect you. If you're in therapy, keep going — this work sits alongside it, not instead of it.

What this offers is something different. Rather than exploring the pattern through conversation and working to understand it, we go directly to the belief underneath it and release it. The goal isn't to manage the feeling better. It's to find what's generating it and shift that.

The work happens live, in the session. We locate the belief together, we release it, and we replace it with something new — not as an idea to hold onto, but as something that lands in the body and the subconscious in real time.

The shift begins in session one. How far it goes depends on how many layers there are.

What's different
We release, not revisit

Rather than returning to the feeling again and again to process it, we locate the belief underneath it and let it go. The goal isn't to understand the wound. It's to heal it.

What's the same
It starts with a real conversation

Every session begins by talking — about what's going on, what keeps coming back, what you've already tried. The conversation is how we find what's underneath. Then the deeper work begins.

The accountability piece
You leave with a next step

The work doesn't end when the session ends. The big overwhelming thing gets broken down until it isn't overwhelming anymore. You leave with one clear step — sized right for where you are — and the expectation that you'll take it.

The Tool That Reaches It

Theta Healing: going directly
to the subconscious.

To work with the subconscious, you have to access it. And to access it, you need to be in theta brainwaves — the deeply relaxed state your mind moves through just before sleep, or in deep meditation. It's the state where the subconscious becomes reachable.

At the beginning of every session, I guide both of us into that state through a meditation process. From there, I can connect to your subconscious directly and work with what's there — the beliefs, the patterns, the things that have been running underneath everything.

We find the core belief together, through the conversation. I listen for what's underneath what you're saying — the thing beneath the thing. When we locate it, we work to release it and replace it at the root. Not by installing a new belief on top of the old one. By shifting what's underneath so something new can take hold.

How quickly things shift depends on how deep the belief runs. Some things move in a single session. Others are connected to several layers that we work through over time. Either way, something begins to move from the very first session.

The brainwave state
Theta — the gateway

Theta brainwaves are associated with deep relaxation, creativity, and subconscious access. It's the same state experienced in deep meditation or just before sleep. In this state, the subconscious is open and receptive to change.

What a session feels like
Conversation, then something shifts

It starts like a deep, honest conversation. Then there's often a moment — hard to describe — where something releases. An exhale. A lightness. The absence of something that was there before.

What it isn't
Not hypnosis, not control

You stay aware throughout. Nothing happens without your knowing and consent. There's no script, no judgement, and nothing you say will surprise me.

The Second Tool

Reiki: releasing what
the body's been holding.

Not everything that needs to shift lives in a belief. Some of it lives in the body — a tightness that won't release, a heaviness that sleep doesn't touch, an emotion that got stuck somewhere along the way and never moved.

Reiki works with the energy field of the body. There's a life force running through all of us, and when it gets blocked — by stress, grief, old patterns, things we never quite processed — it stays there. Reiki helps it move.

You don't have to do anything. You just receive. I act as a channel, and the energy goes where it needs to go. Sometimes it's physical — warmth, tingling, a wave of release. Sometimes it's emotional. Sometimes it's quiet, and the shift shows up in the days after.

Where it comes from
A century-old practice

Reiki was developed in Japan in the 1920s and has been practised quietly, all over the world, ever since. It has nothing to do with any particular religion or belief system.

What you might feel
Warmth, release, or quiet

Some people feel heat or emotion moving through them. Others feel almost nothing in the moment and notice the shift in the days after. Both are completely normal. The work happens either way.

How I use both
Together, as needed

In a 1:1 session, I follow what I sense. Sometimes it's Theta work on the belief. Sometimes it's Reiki on what the body is holding. Often it's both. The session takes the shape it needs to.

The Part That Sounds Like a Stretch

What about the sessions
where we're not even on a call?

If everything so far has made sense, this part is usually where people pause. The Reiki Send and the Body Scan both happen without you doing anything at a scheduled time. No call, nothing to prepare, nothing required from you at all.

Energy work like this has been done at a distance for as long as it's been practised. Distance doesn't change how the energy moves, in the same way a phone call works whether you're in the next room or on the other side of the world.

All you do is give your consent and tell me a little about what's going on. I do the work in my own time, and afterward you'll receive a written note describing what came through, so you're never left wondering what happened.

Still Wondering

A few honest
answers.

No question here is too basic. If something's still unclear after this, just ask me directly.

No. This isn't tied to any religion or belief system. I've worked with people who are deeply spiritual and people who'd call themselves complete sceptics. What matters is openness, not belief.

That happens, and it doesn't mean nothing happened. Some people feel things immediately. For others, the shift shows up a few days later, in a conversation that goes differently, or a thought that doesn't come back the way it used to.

Yes. This work sits alongside whatever else you're doing, not instead of it. If you're currently working with a doctor or therapist, please keep doing that. Think of this as additional support, not a replacement.

Honestly, scepticism is a fine place to start from. You don't need to change your mind before booking. Try it once, see what you notice, and decide from there.

There's growing research into how energy work and meditative states affect the nervous system, though the full picture isn't settled. I won't oversell it as proven science. What I can tell you is what I've seen, again and again, in the people I work with.
